Love to Watch You Bleed

is a subversive, action-packed, riot grrrl slasher, centering on troubled teen JORDAN FOSTER, a juvenile offender who is about to turn 18, and is in danger of being sent to adult prison; but she and a group of seven other girls are given an opportunity to complete an outward bound survival program and finish their sentences early in the red hills of Utah. Here they must learn to work together to hike treacherous trails, climb steep cliffs, spelunk underexplored caves, and survive the unforgiving elements. When a faceless killer begins picking off the girls one by one, Jordan and the other inmates begin to suspect one another, breaking down their newly formed bond. Will they be able to work together to survive?

Black water bridge

Black Water Bridge

Set during the tumultuous social landscape of the 1960s, EMMA WESLEY is a 16 year old curious young woman, raised by her progressive, single mother to make her own way in the world, independent from a husband. Her life is turned upside down when the car she is driving crashes, killing her mother instantly. Emma is sent to live in a beautiful yet secluded gothic mansion by the sea with her estranged father, ADAM, a 36 year old "man about town" whose sole focus has been his career as a novelist. Living with him at the house is his fourth wife, MARGOT, a 24 year old postwar housewife.

While Emma struggles to find peace with her mother's death, the apparition of a mysterious woman visits her. Emma is led from the house to the nearby bridge where she witnesses STEPHEN KRANTZ, the local bookstore owner, dumping a suitcase into the sea before driving away under the cover of night. While she tries to learn more about the ghostly woman and the man on the bridge, she re-connects with her childhood friend NICK CRANE, a now handsome 19 year old who works at the bookstore. Emma also finds herself struggling to adjust to her new home as her independent attitude clashes with her young stepmother's more traditional point of view. Adam and Emma's bond, however, becomes stronger, causing a jealous Margot to look for a way to get Emma out of the picture.

As Emma's investigation into the mysterious murdered woman's identity takes a dangerous turn, Margot believes Emma is becoming unhinged, and convinces Adam to place Emma in an institution. With time running out, will Emma be able to bring Rebecca's killer to justice and still save herself?
