Born in Memphis, TN, but raised in Florida, Virginia "Gina" Powers Hendry (she/her) is a graduate of the University of Central Florida Film & Digital Media Program. She moved to California almost immediately after graduation to pursue her dream of filmmaking. She has worked as an assistant to a talent manager, a PA on a David Lynch commercial, managed feature film credits in the business & legal affairs dept at two major studios, before devoting her time to writing and having a family.  She spends most days writing female-driven stories while raising two kick-ass future final girls; and directing award-winning horror shorts with her friends.
